Tailored Made Dance Lessons

We ask every student to try and introductory dance lesson to see if they like our instructions, and to build your own confidence that you can dance. We are extremely confident that no matter your level of experience (from never danced before to champion dancer) you will walk out a better dancer at the end of the lesson; and more importantly that you will have a great time learning as well.

FAQ’s?

What happens on a first lesson?

Typically on a first lesson we will go over what you want to get from your dancing (Just for fun, I want to go to a salsa club, I am getting ready for a wedding, I want to surprise my wife, ect….). We will go over some ABC’s of dancing and some basic patterns and steps that we feel fit in with what you want from dancing. This is mostly a taste tester, and you might find you like some moves, steps, or music more than others. So at the end of the lesson (typically around 40 minutes for your first lesson) we will go over what you like and didn’t like and make a short plan for you and your dancing going forward.

Do I need a partner?

No. You will be provided a professional dance instructor to dance with and teach you. This is actually the Fastest way to learn partner dancing since you only have to worry about yourself during the learning process.

If I come in as a couple does the price change?

No. You pay per instructor. With that said we do highly recommend couples to take what we call “Couples Lessons” every other lesson. This is where you each are paired with your own professional dance instructor and take your lessons side by side. During a Couples Lesson you will be able to work on yourself, and be given specific tips that you need to help your partner. This is the fastest way couples learn to dance and it is completely optional, although highly recommended.

What should I wear for my first dance lesson?

Wear whatever is comfortable for your first dance lesson. Some people come dressed up, and others come straight from the gym. It is completely personal preference. Your instructors will be dressed professionally just so you are aware.

Important: Make sure you have shoes that don’t slip of your feet (Flip Flops and Sandals). If you have shoes that have a leather sole on the bottom or that are slick on the bottom that is preferable, but not necessary for your first lesson.

Where are you located?

We are located at “Dianna’s Studio of Dance” in the tower district. 826 N. Fulton Fresno, CA. Parking is in the back and please enter through that back door. If you have any issues finding the place or getting in please call us at (559) 367-2159.

Do you offer group lessons?

Yes. We are anticipating starting our first group lessons soon, either April or May. We are waiting for the county/state to open up a little bit more.

What is your current Covid-19 procedure?

We ask that students wear a mask if they have not been vaccinated.
